In the fifth month, the Gujarat Education Department had issued a notification to fill the vacancies for the recruitment of teachers in Kutch district, in which a total of 4100 vacancies were to be filled. This Vidhya Sahayak recruitment has been divided into two parts. First, there were 2500 vacant posts for Primary Teachers while 1600 vacant posts for Upper Primary were advertised online.
This recruitment has been divided into two categories: Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher. For classes one to five, teachers who have passed TET-1 are considered eligible, while for classes six to eight, teachers who have passed TET-2 are considered eligible.
The online application process lasted for thirteen days from 12th to 25th, 2025, in which thousands of applicants joined, just like those who are currently waiting for the date of the announcement of the merit list, dreaming of becoming a teacher. Students who score high in TET-1 and TET-2 exams will get the opportunity to select villages of their choice in Kutch district first and the chances of being selected in Vidhya Sahayak recruitment will increase by 101 percent.
